Decadancetheatre presents:
The Firebird
set in Grand Park's Splash pad
Decadancetheatre will make its Music Center debut at Moves After Dark with a new adaptation of Igor Stravinsky’s 1910 ballet, The Firebird, set in Grand Park’s splash pad. The performance will feature a cast of all-star, Los Angeles-based all-female dancers who will interpret the original Stravinsky score through aggressive b-girling, locking, vogue and waving choreography.

Decadancetheatre will also be in Los Angeles for the 2016 premiere of The Hip Hop Nutcracker at the Saban Theatre Nov 17th and 18th.
New York Magazine said “The all-female cast twitches, jolts, pops-and-locks, and shakes their bodies in ways superior to that of tech-enhanced Missy Elliott,” and The New Yorker described the company as “A Dance Like Keith Haring Come to Life.”
